England versus China – Women's Exhibition Match
Preamble
Hello and welcome to the exhibition match between England and China at Wembley Stadium. The match is set to be a thriller with the European Championship holders competing against the holders of the Asian Cup title.
England’s national stadium is fully booked for the occasion, which will see the celebrated Fran Kirby celebrated pre-match after her international retirement before the Euros this past summer.
The team news will be announced shortly, but there was a recent squad update for England. On Friday, the goalkeeper Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a slight knock, and so previous starter Ellie Roebuck has been added to the squad.
With Hannah Hampton unavailable, it will be interesting to see who the Lionesses' coach Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. Those details along with further updates are incoming before the opening whistle at 17:30 GMT.
