Tributes Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

More than two weeks after the tragic deaths of renowned film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the duo.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he only now felt prepared to express about his personal sorrow.

"Enough time has passed that I can now express my sorrow into words," wrote Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started sharing more moments together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded archival material from the film, adding that he could not remember "any day without joy".

"The movie is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Principles that Rob held dear. That is part of the many reasons he was the ideal person to direct it," Elwes wrote.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I recall you." He concluded with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a separate essay, legendary director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the protagonist.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked seamlessly with everyone, and he grasped the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to prevent the release of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the LAPD.

A court order put a restriction on the cases to restrict the public release of "related notes, notes, reports or photos" connected to the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had already determined their deaths were the consequence of foul play, with a public database citing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Response and Criticism

Following the tragedy, public figures offered different comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, providing divisive claims that were widely condemned by several public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the those speaking out last week. Talking on his program, Rogan characterized the statements as "disturbing" and remarked they demonstrated a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan concluded by remarking that an adviser could have intervened when the choice to speak on the death was made.
