Two Individuals Accused Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Incident
Two men have been charged related to a suitcase robbery where a suspected irritant spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.
This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.
A toddler was among those injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.
The incident – described by police as was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
